Teaching & Courses

I teach a wide range of courses—both in person and online—centered on children’s and young adult literature, popular culture, media studies, and critical writing. My classes explore topics such as Disney and representation, Barbie and girlhood, Latinx youth cultures, toys and games, and feminist approaches to storytelling. Whether through discussion-based seminars or creative assignments, I encourage students to think critically about the stories we consume and the cultures that shape them.
